Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad has stirred reactions among internet users as he recently throws shade at his boss, Naira Marley on his new snippet song.
Undoubtedly, the relationship between “Imole” hitmaker, Mohbad and his record label boss, Naira Marley has been at a dead end as the singer requested to terminate his contract with Marlian music following numerous attacks from Naira Marley.
Recall on October Intel Region reported that Mohbad takes to his official Twitter handle where he cries out and claimed of being assaulted in the Marlian house. Sharing a video to prove his claim, the singer who wore a white singlet was seen with bruises on his back, neck, and hand.
Naira Marley in a post debunked Mohabd tweet as he noted that Mohbad was high on harmful substances and further described the incident as a “family affair”.
He wrote; “Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.”
Reacting to this, Mohabd who was later admitted to hospital following the injury sustained at the Marlian house said he wasn’t high on anything and further added that Naira Marley coordinated his assaulters, in his words; “Naira Marley was fully present throughout this event, and in fact, coordinated some of the attacks as he instructed the boys to beat us up. Some of this was captured on video. It is therefore disrespectful for Naira Marley to insinuate that I started the attack because I was intoxicated as he is fully aware of the facts and circumstances surrounding this violent attack.
Mohabd who has already set up his mind on leaving Naira Marley record label lyrically sends shots to his label boss. He said that he sees Marlian Records as a family but they weren’t there for him rather they wanted to collect his own peace. He added that they (Marlian Records) call his father and by extension threatened his mother in the process.
In his words; ‘They have cheated on me, thought we doing Marlians, they want to corner me, they want to take my peace, everyday for the thief, one day for the owner …..why is Naira going down?”
