The Seattle Seahawks are aiming to improve their record to 5-3 in Week 8 as they prepare to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. This will be a challenging matchup against a tough opponent, so Seattle will need everyone on board.

However, they might be missing a key player on offense as star wide receiver DK Metcalf is dealing with an MCL sprain in his knee from the Week 7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Metcalf had to be carted off the field early and is considered week-to-week.

Why now is the time for the Seahawks' DK Metcalf to have a career year | The Seattle Times

According to offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, Metcalf is “working his tail off” to be ready for the Bills game and still has a chance to play, as reported by Gregg Bell.

Before leaving last Sunday, Metcalf caught four passes for 99 yards. So far this season, the 26-year-old has totaled 35 receptions for 568 yards and three touchdowns.

Metcalf hasn’t practiced this week due to the injury, which is concerning. Friday’s practice will give a clearer indication of his status.

Running back Kenneth Walker III has also missed practices while dealing with an illness, although he performed well against Atlanta last weekend.
