The Cleveland Browns are already aware of their Week 4 opponent.
Despite some speculation, the Las Vegas Raiders won’t be making a quarterback change for Sunday’s game. Gardner Minshew will retain his starting role for the time being, with Aidan O’Connell still backing him up, per a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Minshew had a rough outing in Week 3 against the previously winless Carolina Panthers, throwing for 214 yards, one touchdown, and one interception before being benched. Given the ongoing quarterback debate in Las Vegas, many thought head coach Antonio Pierce might have seen enough.
The Browns are familiar with Minshew, although he had a different team around him last year. He played in a high-scoring 38-39 game against them at Lucas Oil Stadium while with the Indianapolis Colts, stepping in for the injured Anthony Richardson. In that game, Minshew completed 15 of 23 passes for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, though he was sacked four times by the Browns’ defense.
Both the Browns and Raiders enter the Week 4 contest with 1-2 records, each in desperate need of a win. Cleveland also has its own quarterback concerns. With a battered offensive line, they’ll face a tough challenge containing Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins, while Deshaun Watson will need to make quick decisions, something he’s struggled with so far this season.
