Just In: Josh Allen dismissive quote about Stefon Diggs trade

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a somewhat surprising response when asked about the absence of wide receiver Stefon Diggs this year, following Diggs’ trade to the Houston Texans.

During a Wednesday interview, Allen was questioned about whether he missed Diggs, who had been his top target for the past four years. While his answer was diplomatic, it raised some eyebrows.

“Stef’s a great player, and what he brought to this team was special,” Allen said. “Miss, I don’t know if I’d say miss. He was reliable and always brought energy. I’m sure he’s bringing that same energy to Houston. You can’t deny that we miss those qualities, but I’m really happy with what we’ve got here and how hard our guys are working.”

It’s a tricky situation for Allen, as he wouldn’t want to slight his current teammates. However, he seems quite satisfied with the Bills’ current setup. Although the team is experiencing some growing pains, there’s undeniable talent on the roster.

As for Diggs, despite his talent, he did cause some tension for the Bills in the past year. It seems like the trade was the best move for both parties.
