Detroit Lions tight end sustained a low ankle sprain during Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The injury occurred in the second quarter while He was blocking downfield and twisted his ankle.

Fowler reported Monday that tests confirmed the sprain is indeed low, aligning with the team’s initial assessment.

LaPorta, who had an impressive rookie season, has so far recorded 94 yards on eight receptions from 10 targets this season.
