As mixed reactions continue to trail the post shared on social media by Imade Adeleke to celebrate her father, Davido, on his 30th birthday, Sophia Momodu has released a statement.
It would be recalled that Davido clocked 30 some days ago and the event was celebrated by fans and top personalities on all social media platforms.
With Davido still mourning the death of her son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, eyebrows were raised over the post shared by Imade Adeleke
However, fans were skeptical of the post sent on Davido’s birthday as they insisted that the late Ifeanyi should have not been in the mix.
Reacting to this some minutes ago, Sophia Momodu took to Imade’s official Instagram account to release a statement.
According to Sophia Momodu, she’s still trying to guide her daughter on how things work.
Sophia Momodu added that she’s only trying to guide her daughter to appropriately process the loss of her brother
She wrote:
I realize that the earlier post may come across as insensitive and I sincerely apologize as that was not the intention.
Imade deeply loves her father and all her siblings, and as a mother, I’m doing my best to guide her through the difficult emotion of grief from the loss of her brother whilst trying to celebrate her father’s birthday.
I ask for your consideration and hope that you all can be understanding during these times.
