How to vote for BBTitans season 1 winner 2023

Website and mobile registration

Voting on the website and mobile site is available to anyone living in one of the following countries:

South Africa, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Togo, Burundi, Rwanda, Djibouti, Eritrea, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Mauritius, Angola, Mozambique, Eswatini

Before being allowed to vote via the web or mobile, you will need to register with your full name, year of birth, gender, location, and mobile number. You can register before voting is open or during a voting round.

To register:

1. Visit dstv.com/bigbrothertitans
2. Click on the “Vote” menu item
3. Click on “Register” enter your details in the relevant fields, and choose a password
4. You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) via SMS
5. Enter the OTP where prompted.

Website and mobile voting

Once registration is complete, you will be able to vote during open voting periods. To do this:

1. Visit dstv.com/bigbrothertitans
2. Click on the “vote” menu item
3. Click on “Sign in” and enter your mobile number
4. Enter your chosen password
5. Select a housemate
6. Enter the number of votes you wish to give that housemate and cast your vote by clicking “vote”.

Website and mobile voting are limited to 100 votes per user. You may assign those votes however you wish. You can give them all to one housemate, or you can share them with multiple housemates. It’s your call. That’s why they’re called “your votes”.

Voting on the website and on mobile is free, but you will need to pay for any data you consume while voting.

Voting with the MyDStv or the GOtv apps

Voting with either the MyDStv or GOtv apps are available to active subscribers with eligible packages in selected countries only. South Africans can only use the MyDStv app, while subscribers in the following countries can use either app depending on their subscription:

Voting via the apps provides subscribers with additional votes based on their package. Here’s a table that breaks down the number of votes for which each package makes you eligible:

Registering on the MyDStv or MyGOtv apps

1. Download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
2. Log into the app using your surname or mobile number and your customer number
3. Once logged in, look for the “Big Brother Titans” card
4. Click on the “Vote Now” button
5. Enter your full name, year of birth, gender, location, and mobile number, and choose a password
6. You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) via SMS
7. Enter the OTP when prompted

Voting on the MyDStv or MyGOtv apps
Once registered, you will be allowed to vote during open voting periods. To do this:

1. Log into the app
2. Select the “Big Brother Titans” card
3. Confirm your customer number and mobile number
4. Enter your chosen password
5. Select your favorite housemate
6. Enter the number of votes you would like to give that housemate and submit by clicking “vote”.

Once again, you may allocate your vote to one or multiple housemates. That’s entirely up to you, you strategic thinker.

Data costs apply to voting via the app.

Earn yourself extra votes by playing games on the app
You can earn yourself additional votes by playing games in the app by clicking on the “Titans” call to action, then clicking on “Quiz” and following the instructions to play the game. After playing each game, click on “vote now” to convert your points into extra votes.

However, there’s a lot to go through there, but it’s not as complicated as it seems. You will only need to register once on each platform – thereafter, it’s just a case of signing in with your details. Have fun, and happy voting.
