The University of Louisville men’s basketball team has officially welcomed three talented guards—Isaac McKneely, Ryan Conwell, and Adrian Wooley—for the 2025–26 season. These key additions are designed to strengthen the Cardinals’ backcourt under head coach Pat Kelsey’s direction.

Isaac McKneely
McKneely, entering his senior year, transfers from the University of Virginia, where he was the team’s leading scorer last season. He posted 14.4 points per game and led the ACC in three-point shooting at 42.1%. Over his three years with the Cavaliers, he averaged 11.1 points and hit 42.2% from beyond the arc across 98 games.

Ryan Conwell
Conwell arrives from Xavier University after averaging 16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game last season—earning a spot on the All-Big East third team. Louisville marks his fourth college program, following prior stops at South Florida and Indiana State, where he consistently contributed as a scorer and playmaker.

Adrian Wooley
Wooley comes to Louisville following an impressive freshman campaign at Kennesaw State University. He averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, earning Conference USA Freshman of the Year and first-team All-Conference USA honors. His debut season featured a record-setting 11 Conference USA Freshman of the Week awards.

These additions align with Coach Kelsey’s larger effort to rebuild and elevate the program, which has recently returned to the national Top 25 rankings and enjoyed a nine-game winning streak.
