The Chicago White Sox claimed infielder off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

Capra, 28, had been designated for assignment by the Brewers last week. He will now fill an open spot on the White Sox’s 40-man roster, though another roster move will be required to add him to the active lineup.

This season, Capra went just 4-for-54 (.074) in 24 games before being released by Milwaukee. Over parts of four MLB seasons, he has a career batting average of .105, with one home run and five RBIs across 44 games.
