The Seahawks are bolstering their secondary and special teams with a new addition.

According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, D’Anthony Bell has agreed to a one-year deal with Seattle.

After going undrafted in 2022, Bell took an unconventional path to the NFL, playing at four different colleges before earning a spot on the Browns’ roster.

Over three seasons in Cleveland, he started seven games at safety and became a key special teams contributor. Last year, he appeared in all 17 games, playing 9% of the Browns’ defensive snaps and 85% of their special teams plays.

In Seattle, Bell will have to compete for a roster spot, but he has a solid chance to make the team and contribute on special teams.
