The Broncos made a move to bolster their secondary ahead of their preseason matchup with the Cardinals.

On Friday, Denver announced the signing of defensive back Micah Abraham, while placing defensive back Gregory Junior on waived/injured status to make room.

Abraham, a sixth-round pick by the Colts in 2024, previously spent time on the Bengals’ practice squad. During preseason play with Indianapolis, he stood out with 10 tackles (second on the team), a tackle for loss, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown.

He also suited up earlier this year for the UFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks. Denver had only just added Junior on August 10.
