If you talk to anyone close to the Alabama football program right now, they’ll tell you the team’s culture and level of commitment are incredibly strong. That unity is already showing in how a pair of current Crimson Tide defensive backs have taken a top recruit under their wing.

Jorden Edmonds, a 5-star Alabama commit and the No. 1 cornerback in the 2026 class per the 247 Composite, was seen in Atlanta this week training with Alabama corners Cam Calhoun and Dijon Lee.
Edmonds gave his verbal to Alabama in March, picking the Tide over Georgia and more than 40 other offers. His recent workout with current players suggests he’s firmly committed to the program.

Both Calhoun and Lee are new faces in Tuscaloosa — Calhoun arrived via transfer from Utah, while Lee came in as a 5-star recruit in the 2025 class. They’ve both already impressed and are expected to push for playing time, even with Alabama bringing back starting corners Domani Jackson and Zabien Brown.
With Calhoun, Lee, Jackson, and Brown, Alabama might just have the best group of cornerbacks in the nation.
