At the start of NFL free agency, the Cincinnati Bengals were reportedly interested in offensive guard to strengthen their offensive line.

However, He is heading to another AFC North team.

According to Jordan Schultz, He is signing with the Cleveland Browns.

Jenkins has spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears, who selected him 39th overall in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Over those four seasons, he appeared in 45 games and started 38. Originally drafted as a tackle out of Oklahoma State, he transitioned to right guard in 2022 before moving to left guard in 2023. Over the past two seasons, he played in 26 games, starting 25.

A former First-Team All-Big 12 selection, Jenkins earned a 75.4 overall PFF grade in 2024, with a 75.8 grade in pass protection and 74.3 in run blocking. In 738 snaps last season, he allowed four sacks and committed four penalties.

Jenkins was a notable prospect heading into the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, where the Bengals ultimately chose Jackson Carman from Clemson. Carman is no longer with the team.

As a result, Cincinnati’s search for offensive guards continues.
