Napoli defeated Rangers 3-0 to maintain their lead in Group A and advance to the round of 16. Giovanni Simeone scored twice in the first half and Leo Ostigard added a third to help the resurgent Serie A team keep its perfect record in the Champions League this season.
Meanwhile, Barcelona was eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday night after Inter Milan defeated Viktoria Plzen. The Serie A team has joined Bayern Munich in advancing from Group C’s Round of 16.
