BREAKING NEWS: Chicago Bears officially sign top veteran WR and DB

The Chicago Bears have added experienced players Miles Boykin and Shaun Wade on one-year deals, as announced by the team on Thursday afternoon.

Miles Boykin returns to his hometown by signing with the Bears, having grown up in Tinley Park.

In his NFL career, Boykin has appeared in 73 games, including 25 starts, during his time with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. Last season, he spent time on the practice squads of the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.

Boykin has recorded 38 receptions for 498 yards and seven touchdowns while also making an impact on special teams with 17 tackles.

Originally selected by the Ravens in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Boykin played college football at Notre Dame, where he helped lead the Irish to their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance.

Shaun Wade joins the Bears after spending the 2024 season on the Los Angeles Chargers’ practice squad.

A former Ohio State standout, Wade has played in 20 career games, including six starts, all with the New England Patriots.

Originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Wade had an impressive college career at Ohio State, earning consensus All-American honors in 2020 and being named the Big Ten Conference Defensive Back of the Year.
