The Bengals have added a new player to their defensive line. On Thursday, Cincinnati signed defensive tackle Carlos Davis to their 90-man roster. Since the team had an open spot after several roster changes on Wednesday, no corresponding move was required.

Davis, a seventh-round pick by the Steelers in 2020, appeared in 12 games for Pittsburgh over three seasons, recording 12 tackles and a sack. He was out of the NFL last year and recently played for the Birmingham team in the UFL.
Currently, Sheldon Rankins, B.J. Hill, Kris Jenkins, Zach Carter, McKinnley Jackson, and Jay Tufele occupy the top positions on the Bengals’ defensive tackle depth chart.
