BREAKING NEWS: Auburn Flip Four-Star QB Commit From SEC Rival

Auburn is continuing its recruiting efforts as the team looks to capitalize on the offseason and build on a promising, yet inconsistent 2024 season.

One highly sought-after recruit the Tigers may target is four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal from Mustang High School in Mustang, Oklahoma.

The Class of 2026 pocket passer is currently committed to Oklahoma, where he would stay close to home for his college career, but his commitment is uncertain as O’Neal has several upcoming visits. These include trips to Auburn and Florida State, according to Steve Wiltfong of On3. This follows a recent visit to Georgia at the end of March.

O’Neal’s commitment to the Sooners may be wavering, especially after Oklahoma showed interest in another 2026 quarterback, four-star Bowe Bentley, who will visit Oklahoma from June 13-15.

Ranked as the No. 11 quarterback in a stacked class by 247Sports Composite, O’Neal is also the top prospect in Oklahoma and the 138th overall player in the 2026 cycle.

Auburn is clearly in need of a solid quarterback to help take the program to the next level, and O’Neal could be the ideal fit if the Tigers can convince him to flip to The Plains.
