On Tuesday, the Broncos announced a couple of roster changes involving linebackers. They signed Alec Mock to the 90-man roster and waived Ronnie Perkins. Since Perkins has an injury designation, he’ll be placed on injured reserve if he isn’t claimed off waivers.

Mock, who played college football at Air Force, went undrafted this year. He initially signed with the Broncos but was waived in June. Last season, he recorded 93 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, and two forced fumbles.

Perkins, a 2021 third-round pick by the Patriots, never played a regular season game for New England. Last year, he made 13 tackles in seven games for the Broncos.
