Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton is confident in both himself and his new Crimson Tide teammates.

After entering the transfer portal, Horton chose to join Alabama. The Tennessee native previously spent three seasons at Miami, where he totaled 790 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

Recently, Horton appeared on the Crimson Tide Sports Network and emphasized the team’s focused mindset.

“We’re taking it very seriously,” Horton said. “Like I’ve been saying, we understand what’s ahead of us. We know we have the team to accomplish our goals. All we have to do is keep our heads down, grind, and push forward every day.”

Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton has been 'hard to defend'

Horton has been one of the most talked-about players for Alabama this spring. According to multiple sources, he stood out in the team’s first scrimmage.

Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy recently praised the impact Horton has made so far.

“There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Isaiah Horton, the transfer from Miami,” McElroy said on ESPN’s Always College Football while analyzing Alabama’s wide receiver corps. “He’s big, he’s physical, and they believe he can stretch the field and make big plays. By all accounts, he’s been tough to defend against a strong secondary. He had multiple touchdowns in the scrimmage against the first-team defense, including some impressive contested catches.”

Alabama fans will get a chance to see Horton in action on A-Day.
