The Bengals have signed running back, an unrestricted free agent, to a two-year deal through the 2026 season.

Perine (5-11, 240), a ninth-year veteran from the University of Oklahoma, was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by Washington. Throughout his career, he has played for multiple teams, including Washington (2017-18), Cincinnati (2019, 2020-22), Miami (2019), Denver (2023), and Kansas City (2024).

In 110 regular-season games (12 starts), he has recorded 474 carries for 1,922 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and nine touchdowns, along with 179 receptions for 1,513 yards (8.5 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns. Additionally, he has returned eight kickoffs for 224 yards (28.0-yard average).

During his previous time with Cincinnati, Perine played in 54 regular-season games, making three starts. He totaled 213 carries for 914 yards and six touchdowns, as well as 76 receptions for 549 yards and five touchdowns. In the postseason, he appeared in seven games, accumulating 142 yards from scrimmage (60 rushing, 82 receiving) and scoring both a rushing and receiving touchdown.
