PEORIA, Ariz. — The Seattle Mariners have signed veteran reliever Trevor Gott to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Gott missed the entire 2024 season after tearing the UCL in his right elbow during spring training with the Oakland A’s, undergoing Tommy John surgery in April.
The 32-year-old right-hander has a career record of 16-15 with a 4.65 ERA and six saves in 255 appearances, dating back to his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Angels in 2015. This marks Gott’s second stint with the Mariners, having appeared in 30 games for them in 2023 before being traded to the New York Mets.

Gott joins a group of experienced relievers the Mariners are taking a chance on, with other players such as Drew Pomeranz and Neftalí Feliz also vying for a spot in Seattle’s bullpen.
