MLB fans and food enthusiasts had mixed reactions to the $25 “Taste of the K Taco” after it was announced for sale at Kauffman Stadium. Sampling the variety of ballpark foods during a game is one of the few perks of attending, with staples like beer and hot dogs, or popcorn and soda, enhancing the experience.

When the Kansas City Royals introduced their latest offering, many fans were excited about the new option. The “Taste of the K Taco” is not your typical taco; it features a hot dog wrapped in a cheeseburger quesadilla, topped with BBQ brisket, french fries, lettuce, onion, sriracha cracker jacks, and 816 sauce.

Despite its unique composition, the $25 price tag left some foodies hesitant. The taco will be provided by Aramark, a detail that drew criticism from some.

“Too bad Aramark’s food is mid at best,” commented one user on X.

“Looked good until I saw the Aramark logo,” said another.

While some fans thought the taco “sounds amazing” and would be fantastic, many were against it.

“$25 for a stomach ache is crazy,” wrote one.

“I can’t tell if this is a hell yeah moment or a hell no moment,” added another.

Others remarked on its unhealthy appearance. “Does it come with health insurance?” one person quipped.
