The Seattle Seahawks are welcoming back a familiar player, as they’ve reached an agreement with nine-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman to join their practice squad. It’s notable as Peters, a 42-year-old free agent, will turn 43 during the NFL playoffs this season.

Peters brings valuable championship experience, having been part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning team in 2017. He played in eight games for the Seahawks last season, starting in two of them.

Seahawks didn't ask Jason Peters to mentor their O-line, that's just what he does | The Seattle Times

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero shared on October 1, 2024, via X: “Still going: Nine-time Pro Bowl OT Jason Peters is expected to sign with the #Seahawks practice squad, per source. At age 42, Peters begins his 21st NFL season and second with Seattle, where he appeared in eight games (two starts) in 2023.”
