The Titans are promoting one of their defensive players.

Tennessee announced on Wednesday that they have signed defensive lineman James Lynch to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

Lynch played seven defensive snaps in the season-opening loss to the Bears.

A fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft, Lynch has appeared in 38 games with three starts for the Vikings and Titans. He has recorded 2.0 sacks, four tackles for loss, and two QB hits.

Additionally, Tennessee announced the signing of linebacker Kyron Johnson to the practice squad.
