The Raiders added defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson and cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly to their practice squad on Tuesday, as announced by the team.

Chaisson, the 20th overall pick in the 2020 draft, was recently released by the Panthers after spending his first four seasons with the Jaguars, who initially drafted him.

The 25-year-old Chaisson has played in 57 games, starting 11, and has accumulated 72 tackles, five sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and two passes defensed in his career.

The Raiders are dealing with depth issues at the position following knee injuries to starter Malcolm Koonce, who is now on injured reserve, and Tyree Wilson.

Kelly, selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2023 draft, appeared in eight games last season, registering five tackles.
